Summer is officially here, and there's no better way to celebrate than at Flight Club Summer Terrace In Bloom in Cardiff.

Located on the vibrant St Mary's Street, this hotspot is the perfect destination for a memorable day or night out with friends and family. Upon arriving at the top floor of Flight Club, you're immediately greeted by the stunning outdoor terraces, basking in the sunshine (well that's a push here in Wales, as it was actually raining but we're hopeful for better weather!) and dressed with masses of vibrant blooms. The atmosphere is electric, with DJ sets keeping the energy high while the drinks are flowing.

The venue itself spans three incredible floors, each with its own unique charm and nods to the wonderful city of Cardiff. Lights dance in time to the music, creating a mesmersing mood that adds to the excitement. As you explore the building, you’ll come across Bella and Astrid, the fairground horses, and multiple bars that serve up some of the most delicious cocktails you’ll ever taste. The heated roof terrace is definitely the highlight for me, featuring cosy cabins and a traditional caravan. And let’s not forget the quirky disco phone box - a perfect spot for those Instagram-worthy photos! I want to mention just how wonderful, welcoming, and helpful all the staff are at Flight Club; I've been fortunate enough to visit many times, and we've always had top experiences thanks to them.

The cocktails were nothing short of amazing, crafted with Casamigos Ultra-Premium Tequila and Mezcal. Standouts from the summer cocktail menu included the Spicy Watermelon Margarita, made with Casamigos Blanco, Fair kumquat triple sec, watermelon, lime, cucumber, and chilli, and the Summer of '69, a delightful mix of Casamigos Blanco, Bacardi Carta Blanca, Ketel One, lychee liqueur, lemon, hibiscus tea, and topped with Franklin and Sons Ginger Ale. Alongside these refreshing drinks, we enjoyed some vegan pizza loaded with fresh rocket - a testament to Flight Club’s commitment to offering plentiful and delicious vegan options.

The night ended on a high note with a game of darts, where we made new friends from the Instagram account @TheBestOfCardiff. It was a hilarious and humbling experience, revealing just how bad my darts skills are - I blame the Casamigos!
