With the kindly gifted items from the Craft Company my Mum and I had a fun afternoon baking some floral themed cakes which we perfectly displayed in cupcake bouquet boxes. Listed below are all the items we used from the Craft Company as well as a delicious vegan cupcake recipe and method.
Craft Company Supplies:
- Renshaw 250g Ready To Roll Sugar Paste Icing
- Renshaw Personalise Me Plain Icing - 400g
- Sugarflair Universal Paste Colours
- Renshaw Chocolate Icing 400g
- Wilton Tri-Colour Icing Set - 9 piece
- Cake Star Plunger Cutter - Leaf - Set of 3
- Cake Star Push Easy Cutters - Flowers - Set of 6
- Baked with Love White Greaseproof Baking Cases
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or other non-dairy milk)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the almond milk, sugar, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and apple cider vinegar until well combined.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
- Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean.
- Allow the cupcakes to cool completely before decorating them with your favorite frosting or toppings.
